Cap Removal Machine - Pharmaceutical Manufacturer |

The machine shown here is a bespoke design for one of the UK's leading Pharmaceutical manufacturers. The requirements were for a system to remove tablets from tamper proof capped, plastic containers, without damaging or contaminating the product. Additionally, the customer had a deadline of six weeks from order to process over 1 million containers! The unit features a small conveyor infeed with a central rotary table, which drives the neck of each container into a 'vee' blade. The caps are sheared off and deposited into a bin whilst the open container and contents are conveyed to a carousel for operator removal. The machine was designed, manufactured and went into production within the customers delivery requirements and to a strict budget. |
